“Maluhia La‘a” "Home of Sacred Peace" is a beautiful 5 bedroom home, nestled among a lush green tropical paradise, along with banana, papaya and fragrant plumeria flowers. A large green lawn surrounds the family (ohana) home, just a few hundred beautiful steps from the bay. Swim with spinner dolphins, go snorkeling andkayaking in the historic Kealakekua Bay. 
After a swim, rinse off in the outdoor shower.
This beautiful home has 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a 3rd floor Great room, and an upper and lower lanai (patio). There is an elevator to the second floor for those in need.
Sip your Kona coffee on the lanai, or in the Great room. The Great room is also a wonderful class or dorm room for groups or families.

The Big Island's Dolphin's Bay At Historic Kealakekua Bay and beach are just a few hundred steps away from the house. Kayak across to Captain Cook's Monument or go snorkeling in the bay.

Location
The vacation and retreat home rests in the historic area of Captain Cook, Hawaii, at Kealakekua Bay, which is a marine preserve with warm water, colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, and where spinner dolphins come into the bay most mornings and evenings.
It is a wonderful experience to kayak or swim out into the bay, to see and swim with the dolphins in the mornings, then return home to enjoy Kona coffee, fruit, and make plans for the rest of your day resting or exploring this beautiful area.

Hawaii Renters: Rules
We want you to enjoy your stay.
Please realize that even a normal conversation carries from our front lanai.
We request all renters and guests to comply with the requirement of
no excessive noise past 10:00 pm
We suggest guests go inside and close the lanai door at 10 pm,
for continued lively conversation.
Our home is in a residential neighborhood with noise considerations i.e.: no extended periods of loud partying with screaming, yelling, etc. Also, if people have small children, it's important for the parents to remember that noise travels. The beach is a good option for active children.
We hope that you enjoy your stay, and request all guests to maintain a harmonious lifestyle in this beautiful place and show respect to and cooperation with our neighbors, guests and visitors. All of us who live here, or own homes here, are obligated to consider our neighbors' comfort and well being.
